Commercial & revenue strategy
Pricing structure, segmentation and distribution mix, built with your revenue and marketing teams rather than handed down to them. We look at what you charge, who you charge it to, which channels you pay for it, and whether the forecasting cycle behind those decisions is giving anyone a usable answer.
The output is a method your team keeps running after the engagement ends — not a deck.
- Pricing and rate structure review
- Segmentation and channel mix
- Forecasting and budgeting cadence
- Commercial KPIs and the reporting that supports them
Operations & process
Strategy fails on execution far more often than on analysis. We work through how the commercial decision is actually made and carried out: who owns it, what cadence it runs on, where the handovers between revenue, reservations, sales and finance lose information, and which parts the system should be doing instead of a person.
This is the work that decides whether a new platform changes anything.
- Roles, ownership and decision rights
- Weekly and monthly commercial routines
- Handovers between departments
- What to automate, and what deliberately not to
Audits
An independent assessment of how a hospitality or tourism business operates commercially: where margin is lost, where process and system have drifted apart, which of the problems on everyone’s list are symptoms and which are causes.
Delivered as a prioritised set of findings with an estimate of what each one is worth — so the business can decide what is worth fixing rather than attempting all of it.
- Commercial and operational review
- System fit against current process
- Prioritised findings with impact estimates
Tenders & vendor selection
We write the requirements from how your business works, build the longlist, run the RFP, sit in every demo and score them against the same criteria, then give you a written recommendation with the reasoning laid out — enough for a board paper, and enough that someone who was not in the room can follow the logic.
We hold no partnerships with any platform, so the shortlist carries no obligation.
- Requirements definition
- RFP preparation and management
- Structured demo scoring
- Commercial and contract review support
- Written recommendation
Implementation & configuration
From kick-off through the first full forecasting and reporting cycles on the new platform. We hold the vendor to the plan and the business to the decisions it made during selection, and we do configuration work ourselves rather than only supervising it — rate structures, segmentation, forecasting rules, reporting.
The engagement ends when the new way of working survives without us in the room.
- Implementation oversight and vendor management
- System configuration and tuning
- Data and migration checkpoints
- Training support and adoption review
Portals & performance tools
Sometimes the reporting a business needs does not exist in any product it already owns, and buying another platform to get it is the wrong answer. We design and build it instead, then maintain it under a support agreement.
The clearest example is the performance platform we built for a holiday-homes operator. One side gives the management company a live view of how the portfolio is trading. The other gives each owner their own login, where they see how their apartment is performing and what it has earned — without the operator assembling a spreadsheet every month.
- Operator dashboards — portfolio performance in one view
- Owner portals — per-unit performance and revenue, self-serve
- Automated reporting in place of manual monthly statements
- Maintenance, support and continued development
